| Matt Hernacki (11/07) | I attended Valencia High School from
1999-2003. I graduated in '03 and the following fall started attending Washington State University. I participated in two dormintory hall governments, and became the music director at the campus radio station, KUGR 95 Rock, all while pursing a double major in History and Political Science. I graduated from Washington State University in May 2007 with a B.A. in History and have since been attending graduate school at the University of La Verne in order to get my teaching credentials. When I complete the program at ULV I will have a Single Subject Teaching Credential as well as an M.A. Education. I plan to teach high school social studies, both 10th grade Mod Civ and 11th grade U.S. History, as well as hope to teach some sort of Science Fiction literature class. I plan to pursue a Ph.D in the future as well as use my 13 years of hockey experience to coach a team, if time allows. I would love to come back and teach at Valencia High School if a position is available. In the meantime, I am a Certified Substitite Teacher for the William S. Hart school district. Hope to see some of you soon! |
