COMPUTER APPLICATIONS B (Adobe CS3)

Prerequisite: Keyboarding 1A
Computer Applications B is designed to help develop web design skills using the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Suite of applications (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, and Freehand). The student will learn principles of web design including browsers, search engines, HTML, frames, tables, links, forms, and layout. They will create a variety of websites. Projects will be individual and team based.

Prerequisite: Completion of Computer Applications B with a “C” or higher
This course will focus on three areas: HTML, web design, and web production. Students will further their knowledge of using the web as well as designing web pages. The students enrolled in this course will also design, update, and maintain Valencia High School’s web site.
