It is with sadness that we inform our community of a situation that occurred on the Valencia High School campus today where two students were involved in an altercation and injured. During the course of this altercation one student was stabbed. Both students were transported to receive medical care and law enforcement is involved. There was a lockdown on the Valencia campus while first responders were on-site. The lockdown has been lifted as there is no threat to the school. A team of counselors are on-site to provide support to students and staff.

Valencia HS was on lockdown due to a situation that occurred on campus this morning. Two to three students were involved in an altercation causing injuries. Law enforcement and paramedics are on scene. Contrary to rumors circulating, there was no firearm involved. There is no current threat to the school. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
