& See Library Media Teacher for the library use schedule. See her when using the library for student projects, book talks, research or technology.

DAILY USE :
& 580-600 students on average are being served by the library each day.
& Teachers can send a maximum of 5 students at a time with written passes.
& Students should let the Library Media Teacher know what assignment they must work on
in the library.
& Food, drink, gum, cellphones, and electrical devices are not allowed.

TECHNOLOGY:
& There are 24 student computer stations in the library connected to the internet.
& Each equipped with the library catalog, Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point, & Publisher), Internet Explors, and a wide range of education resources.

TEXTBOOKS:
& Textbooks are issued and collected through the library.
& Student ID cards are needed to check-out textbooks.
& Students should be in class the first day of school with appropriate textbooks.
& Call Textbook Clerk at ext 307 with all textbook questions.
& Students are requested to return textbooks immediately from classes they have
dropped or changed.

AV EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS:
& Teachers may reserve LCD projectors, slide projectors, TV's, DVD's or most any other equipment.
& Check out all equipment through Library Tech.
& Videos, slides and other audiovisual materials are available through the
professional collection in the library conference room.

DELINQUENCY FORMS & FINES :
& If you have students who owe fines on textbooks, contact Texbook clerk, ext. 307.
& Delinquencies and fines are added to students records that result in loss of
privileges for those students.

ORIENTATIONS:
& 9th grade English students participate in a library orientation program, which
introduces them to the resources and technology available.
& For further questions contact the Library Media Teacher.

LIBRARY POLICY:

& Students are requested to keep their voices down, walk, and respect the rights
of other students who work in a quiet atmosphere.
& A Library is a place of academic pursuit. When sending students give them a
pass and an assignment with a clear expectation of what they are to
accomplish.
