Monday - 4:00 SCAC
Tuesday - 4:00 SCAC
Wednesday Pentathalon - 4:30 Warm up, 5:00 Start
Thursday Pentathalon - 4:30 Warm up, 5:00 Start
Friday - no practice

Dear parents and swimmers,
We will be conducting a pentathalon next week. I would like to run this like a regular meet so that we (swimmers, parents, coaches) can learn the basics of meet management. If we could get at least 18 parents to help time, that would be great. Your help is needed! We will be swimming the 50 Breast/50 Fly and the girls 100 IM on Wednesday. We will be swimming the 50BK/50FR and boys 100 IM on Friday.

Club Swimmers,
Senior Gold - Your coach has given you permission to get out of your club practice at 4:30 on Wednesday. You will need to be at SCAC by 5:00 when the meet will actually begin. You will be timed in all 5 events. You will not need to come on Thursday.
Senior Development - Your coach has given you permission to miss practice on Wednesday. You will be timed in all 5 events. You will not need to come on Thursday.
Senior Blue - This meet will not affect your practice. You will be required to come to the Pentathalon both days.

EARLY MARCH PRACTICES

Due to scheduling conflicts, we will have the early practice on the days listed below. I am trying to arrange bus transportation for these days and will get back to you all as soon as I know. If you could arrange car-pools to just leave earlier, that would be optimal.

March 9 (Tuesday) 2:15-4:15
March 11(Thursday) 2:15-4:15

SPRING BREAK PRACTICE SCHEDULE

We will have practice at SCAC from 8:30 to 10:00am.

JV Swimmers need to try to make it to 3 days.
Varsity Swimmers need to try to make it to all days.

 

AP TESTS

Athletes will NOT be allowed to leave early to go study. We have gotten this schedule 3 months in advance. Plan ahead. Be organized. Make a schedule.

May 4 Spanish Language AM - League Prelims PM
May 5 Calculus AB & BC AM - Diving Championship PM
May 6 English Lit AM - League Finals PM
May 7 US Hisotory AM - European History & Studio Art PM

***Possible Conflict*** May 12 English Language AM - Art History & CIF Prelims PM
***Possible Conflict*** May 14 Human Geography AM - CIF Finals PM(early)
For these two meets(CIF), there is really nothing I can do to reschedule, please let me know ASAP if you will have to chose a test over going to this meet. Most of our swimmers need to do well on these tests over going to a meet and sitting around all day long.

 

Please do not drop-off or pick-up your swimmers in the cul-de-sac in front of the pool. Please have a meeting place for your swimmers.

I have noticed a few parents coming into the aquatic center during our practices. I would like to thank these parents for their interest, but remind them respectfully that our practices are closed to parents.

We will be starting at 4:00 this week at the aquatic center. This means be there before 4:00 and be ready to start at 4:00. Dryland clothing is needed (tennis shoes/PE clothing) and normal swimgear.

Equipment needed by the end of this month: Kickboard, mesh bag, fins, pull buoy
These can be purchased at Swimworks in the stripmall on Soledad near Chi-chis for a 20% discount off of retail price.

Practice will end at 6:00 each day
