VHS Robotics Club

Team 8060

Our Mission

Our club's purpose is to teach real-world STEM skills to students through competitive and collaborative robotics competitions. We focus on teaching engineering principles in mechanical and electrical engineering, and programming during the first semester. In the second semester, we design, build, and program a robot to compete in annual FIRST Robotics Competitions (FRC) locally. This involves following the entire engineering design process, from problem-solving to finalizing the robot design, prototyping, building, and modifications. Our goal is for students to have fun working as a team and gain hands-on engineering experience!

What We Do

FRC (First Robotics Competition) is a series of competitions run by First Robotics where student-run teams compete. The goal is to use our resources to create robots that complete tasks for points.

No prior experience is required, and everyone is welcome to join!
