Purchasing AP Exams

Hello Viking Families!

Beginning with the 2019/2020 school year, College Board is requiring students to register for AP Exams in the Fall semester. AP exams will still be administered in May 2020, but exam registration will begin on October 8, 2019.

Purchase AP exams online:
www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/053608

AP exams can only be purchased online. Registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access. Please plan to register for your exams as soon as possible to give yourself ample time to work through any difficulties. You are strongly advised NOT to wait until the last minute to buy your exams.

On-time Registration
Oct. 8 @8:00 AM – Oct. 25 @3:00 PM
Exams cost $104 per exam. Registrations and payments after this date/time will incur a late fee. Technical difficulties or other issues will not be excused and any late fees will apply.

Free/Reduced Lunch Applications
Before Oct. 18 @3:00 PM
You can qualify to pay a reduced exam fee of $25 per exam if you participate in the Free/Reduced Lunch Program. If you believe you qualify for the program, but have not submitted an application this school year, submit your application ASAP through the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus. Applications take several days to be processed and you are advised to submit your application before October 18th. Paper applications can be found here and can be submitted to the Registrar’s Office. Any late fees will apply.

Exam Conflicts
Before Oct. 24 @3:00 PM
If you have two tests that will be administered on the same date and time, please see your counselor to discuss alternate testing. If you would like to take an exam, but it conflicts with a school-sponsored event, please notify your counselor ASAP.

Late Registration
Oct. 25 @3:01 PM - Nov. 1 @3:00 PM
Late registrations cost $114 per exam. If you miss the regular registration deadline, you may still purchase your exam with a $10 late fee per exam. When this registration window closes, there will not be any more opportunities to purchase exams.

Unpaid Exams Cancelled
Nov. 4 @3:00 PM
Any exams not paid in full by this date will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.

Important: Students created a College Board account and joined their class sections at the beginning of the semester. During this process, students have indicated that they plan to take exams for their classes. Students who are not planning on taking an exam must change their response to ‘NO’ at the College Board website (myap.collegeboard.org) before November 1st to avoid a $40 cancellation fee issued by the College Board.

Exam Dates
Refer to the table below for the dates and times for each AP Exam. Testing locations will be provided at a later date. If you have two tests that will be administered on the same date and time, please see your counselor before October 24th to discuss alternate testing.
