Career Seminar is a 1 quarter length class. Freshman Seminar provides a forum for students to discuss, explore and understand the vast career choices available to them.  The course is designed to help students develop their interest in careers and to make connections between where they are now and where they plan to be in the future.  This course creates the optimum opportunity for students to properly decide which cluster and pathway might be right for their future and provides them with detailed job descriptions, educational requirements, salary information, interviews with industry professionals and more. This course is aimed at providing students with the focus and preparation needed for a successful transition from high school to postsecondary studies, trainings and future career success. Students will leave the class with a better understanding of themselves and who they will become in the future.

The main project of the class will be a group interview of someone in a career that the student has an interest in.
