Welcome to the Career & College Readiness (CCR) Course Information Page!
WHAT IS CCR?
The CCR Program (formerly known as ROP) has been developed in order to align with the district's vision of career pathways.
The CCR courses provide work-based learning and career and career guidance to Hart District students.
Students may enroll in CCR to learn entry-level employment skills, explore careers, and/or to prepare for advanced training programs through our many different PATHWAY options.
A pathway offers students an opportunity to concentrate on specific courses in a cluster that will reward them with a certification within completion of the desired PATHWAY. See Tina Olinger, the VHS Career Education Specialist, for complete details of specific courses required to complete the PATHWAY culminating with an internship opportunity.
WHY ENROLL IN CCR?
CCR benefits include, but not limited to:
Courses in a variety of occupations
College and A-G Credits for some courses
Certificate of Completion documenting competencies
THE MISSION of Career & College Readiness (CCR) is to cultivate the potential in our students by integrating rigorous academic classroom instruction with relevant, work-based experiences that guide, inspire, and empower in preparation for college and careers.
